NeuronMetric ("we," "us," "our") operates the NeuronMetric IQ Test available at this website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

When you take our test, we collect:

• Device data: Browser type and general device information (via user agent string). We do not collect precise location data.

• Send your results and occasional NeuronMetric updates to your email address.
• Analyze aggregate, anonymized trends to improve our test quality and scoring.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
Anonymized data: We may share or sell anonymized, aggregated data with third parties for research, commercial, analytics, or educational purposes. Anonymized data is information that has been stripped of personally identifying details — it cannot be traced back to you individually. Examples include aggregate performance statistics by age group, demographic trend reports, and overall scoring patterns.
Personal data: We do not currently sell your raw personal information (such as your name or email address) to third parties. If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy, notify you via the email you provided, and give you the opportunity to opt out before any such sale occurs. You will always have the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information.
Service providers: We use Google Sheets as a data storage provider. Your data is transmitted to Google's servers under their privacy protections. We may use additional service providers (such as email platforms) to operate the Service, and those providers will only access data as needed to perform their functions.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above, or until you request deletion.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:

• Request deletion of your personal data.
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link.

7. Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
Our test is not intended for anyone under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 16 without parental consent. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us data without consent, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Cookies
This site does not use cookies or tracking pixels. We do not use analytics services that track you across other websites.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the test after changes constitutes acceptance.

What this is (and isn't)
NeuronMetric is an IQ challenge built for entertainment and self-improvement. It's not a clinical IQ test, a medical device, or a diagnostic tool. Don't use your score to make medical, educational, employment, or legal decisions. It's a snapshot, not a verdict.
Who can take it
You need to be at least 16 years old. If you're between 16 and 18, you're confirming that a parent or guardian is okay with you taking it. Under 16? Come back in a few years — your brain's still cooking and that's a good thing.
Be honest
Give us accurate info when you sign up. Fake data messes with your results and our research. Nobody wins.
Your data
By taking the test, you're agreeing to our Privacy Policy — that's where we explain exactly what we collect, how we use it, and how we may share it. The highlights: we collect your name, email, age, education, and test performance. We may share anonymized, aggregated insights (data that can't identify you personally) with third parties for research, commercial, or educational purposes. We will never sell your raw personal information (name, email) without giving you the chance to opt out first. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
Don't mess with the test
No bots, no scraping, no reverse-engineering the scoring, no posting the answers online. If you want to share your score, go for it — but don't ruin the experience for everyone else.
Our stuff is our stuff
The questions, branding, design, code, and content are NeuronMetric's intellectual property. Don't copy, redistribute, or build on top of it without written permission.
No guarantees
The test is provided "as is." We don't guarantee accuracy, uptime, or that your score will make you feel good. Your IQ estimate is based on 15 questions — it's a starting point, not the full picture. Intelligence is way more complex than any single number.
We're not liable
To the fullest extent the law allows, NeuronMetric and its creators aren't liable for any damages from using this test — including hurt feelings, missed opportunities, or life decisions made based on your score. It's entertainment. Treat it that way.
Things can change
We may update these terms, the test, or the scoring at any time. If we make major changes, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use means you're good with the updates.
